Las acciones de Zegna para combatir el Coronavirus

El Coronavirus sigue afectando a la mayoría de la población mundial, ya que la pandemia sigue extendiéndose en muchos países, donde los más afectados son Italia y España. Muchas marcas de lujo están realizando iniciativas para combatir este virus y evitar que se siga contagiando entre las personas.

Por este motivo, la casa de moda de lujo italiana Ermenegildo Zegna también se suma a este grupo de empresas para ayudar en la medida de lo posible a combatir el COVID-19 y realizará donaciones económicas a Protección Civil en Italia por un total de 3 millones de euros.

Each of us must do our part, in every way possible, to stop this global emergency”, says Gildo Zegna, CEO. The Zegna family, together with the Group’s top management have pledged personal donations to the Civil Protection in Italy totalling 3 MILLION EUROS. This donation is in support of the nurses, doctors, scientists and volunteers across Italy who have been working tirelessly to fight this epidemic. The Zegna Group will also convert a part of its production facilities in Italy and Switzerland to the manufacturing of masks, that will provide critical supplies to both Zegna’s employees and to the wider needs in these countries. The Zegna Group has also made a direct financial contribution to provide several hospitals with ventilators. Our thoughts are with all those affected by the coronavirus outbreak, and we join in the appeal to people in affected areas to stay at home and remain safe. UNITED, WE WILL MAKE IT.

Esta iniciativa busca apoyar a las enfermeras, médicos, científicos y voluntarios de toda Italia que trabajan diariamente para combatir esta epidemia. Incluso la empresa italiana aportará más donaciones de dinero para la compra de ventiladores y máscaras médicas, que serán suministrados en los diferentes hospitales del país transalpino.

Además, el Grupo Zegna transformará parte de sus instalaciones de producción en Italia y Suiza e fábricas para construir mascarillas para los empleados de la empresa y de los equipos médicos.
