La 77.ª entrega de los premios Emmy llegó a su fin dejando varias sorpresas. La gran vencedora de la noche fue “The Studio”, sátira sobre Hollywood producida por Apple TV+, que acumuló 13 galardones, entre ellos el de mejor serie de comedia. Su creador, Seth Rogen, también brilló con tres premios personales: mejor actor principal en comedia, mejor dirección (junto a Evan Goldberg) y mejor guion compartido.
Detrás de este éxito, los títulos más reconocidos fueron “Adolescence” (Netflix), “Severance” (Apple TV+) y “SNL50: The Anniversary Special” (NBC), cada uno con ocho estatuillas. Sin embargo, la gran sorpresa de la noche la dio “The Pitt”, producción de HBO que se alzó con el Emmy a mejor serie dramática, superando a la favorita “Severance”, que llegaba como líder en nominaciones con 27. En total, “The Pitt” obtuvo cinco premios.
